Superfood Shake

If you have followed me for awhile, you know my morning routine is one that sets me up for success. It’s a very intentional and thought out plan that not only helps me stay consistent with my health but also my nutrition.

My Superfood shake is so much more than just a protein shake. It doesn’t have just one type of protein, but a blend of globally harvested protein from whey, pea, sacha inchi, chia, flax, and quinoa. The particular blends help your body react to stress. And there are probiotics, prebiotics, and enzymes that are really important for gut health,”* she adds.

It gives you a head start for your day and especially for your workouts.

When life is hectic and you are trying to stay focused on meal prepping and eating the right foods, my super food shake makes one meal easy.

Here are some of my favorite recipes that I enjoy the most!

Chocolate Banana Nutter Shakeology
1 serving Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 medium banana
2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
For the best taste experience, use a blender and add ice. The more ice, the thicker it gets. Feel free to use any kind of milk or milk substitute (almond, rice, or coconut milk)—the more milk, the creamier it gets! Enjoy!

Berry Banana Shakeology

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup ice
1 scoop Vanilla Vegan Shakeology
¼ large banana, cut into chunks
½ cup fresh (or frozen) blueberries
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg

Banana Sunshine

1 serving Greenberry Shakeology
1 medium banana
½ cup 100% orange juice
½ cup water
For the best taste experience, use a blender and add ice. The more ice, the thicker it gets. Enjoy!
